Teresa Russell, PsyD, LCPC, NCC, LCADC is an experienced behavioral health professional with more than 22 years of experience providing counseling, addictions treatment, behavioral health support, telehealth services, and psychological assessment for adults navigating a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns.
As an honorably discharged U.S. Army Veteran, Dr. Russell brings a grounded, compassionate, and practical approach to supporting individuals seeking healing, clarity, emotional wellness, and personal growth.
Throughout her career, Dr. Russell has worked in outpatient behavioral health treatment, women’s recovery services, dual-diagnosis care, telehealth counseling, substance abuse treatment, veteran mental health, and behavioral health leadership roles. Her professional experience includes work with anxiety, trauma-related concerns, emotional dysregulation, executive functioning difficulties, substance use recovery, chronic stress, burnout, and life transitions.
Dr. Russell also provides adult ADHD and diagnostic clarification evaluations designed to help individuals better understand attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and related behavioral health concerns.
Hanai Ohana Psychological Services was created with the belief that emotional wellness should feel supportive, respectful, and human. The word “Ohana” reflects the importance of connection, compassion, and belonging.
